About Vasant

Vasant Chemicals commenced its manufacturing operations 27 years ago. From very humble beginnings by manufacturing 50 tonnes per year of Stilbenic Dye Intermediates, Vasant retained a dominant position in the world market by expanding its operations to manufacture 7000 Tonnes of DASDA (4'4' Diamino Stilbene 2'2' Disulphonic Acid) per year. With a strategic intent to focus on performance and speciality chemicals Vasant hived off its Dasda Division during August 2006. It has also earned the recognition of “most reliable supplier” by many of it's customers worldwide.

Vasant diversified into manufacture and sale of Performance and Specialty Chemicals in 2004. A dedicate state of the art facility has been set up to meet the customers' stringent requirements. Vasant has invested USD 4 Million dollars and completed its phase 1 and Phase 2 expansion. All the production blocks including the utilities are now in operation.
