Employee Participation:                               

Since inception, the Management of Vasant has believed that employee participation is a necessary and critical attribute in the Company's growth. At Vasant, our Managing Director is treated and behaves as “first among equals”.

There are several forums where employees are encouraged to voice their views in an objective, frank and open manner. Some of the forums are: - Works Committee for workers, Staff Committee for middle Management, Management Team for Top Management.

All crucial decisions are taken after due and thorough discussions at all the three forums and then put up to the Board of Directors for final approval. At the same time, there is a high element of decentralization at Vasant and most of the operational decisions are being taken at the respective levels.

Employee Welfare:
  Some of the employee welfare measures are listed below
Scholarships to meritorious childrens of the employees.
Subsidized education fees for employees and their children.
Quality of life programme - This programme is being conducted involving families of the employees. The focus is on savings, self-employment, health and hygiene, harmony in matrimonial life, awareness on Aids etc.
