Commenced commercial operations commencing with Stilbene Dye – Intermediate for Optical Brighteners. Novel methods of RVD and ANF which orchestrated VCPL’s growth to 25MT/month.

With process set a per Global standards Vasant Chemicals was ready for international markets initial production of 25MT/month increase to 600MT/month and Vasant was the “most preferred supplier” amongst the three OBA manufacturers in the world.

Entered into specialty and performance Chemical business. Dye intermediate business was hived off to focus on Specialty Chemicals and Pharma intermediates.

Manufacturing Plant in Visakhapatnam was commissioned in 2012 and Nitration and Production Block 2 were commissioned in 2015 and the production increased to 220TPA.
